Looking for Newborn Girls

Once again I am seeking some fresh faces. This time I am specifically looking for newborn girls. Here are the requirements:

-must be a girl ;)
- must be 1 week old or less
-must be due within the next 6 weeks
-parents must sign a model release

Here's what you'll get:
-waived session fee ($75 value)
-free 5x7 of choice ($25 value)
- 2 free sets of wallets ($30 value)

Family Session with the Flores Family

I had the privilege of working with the Flores family while they were visiting from California. We had a perfect overcast day (yes, to photographers, overcast is perfect!) and had a great time shooting all over Maymont. Here are some of my favorites from that day.

Ana Brandt Pure Posing Workshop

This past weekend I attended a workshop with one of my favorite newborn photographers. I've admired her work, her youtube tutorials, and stalked her blog for a while now. When I saw she was having a workshop in Maryland I knew I had to go. I went up to Boonsboro on Saturday and spent the day with Ana and a dozen or so amazing photographers. We had the opportunity to work with 2 newborns and a maternity model. I had a great time and learned so much. I shot over 100 pictures, but here's a few of my favorites:

I am also currently holding a casting call. I am looking for models for my portfolio in three categories. If you fit into one of these categories, you will receive a waived session fee and a free 5x7 (with a signed model release).

Maternity
I am looking for models between 32-36 weeks pregnant (if you are pregnant but don't fit into this time frame, call me and we'll see what we can work out).

Newborns
Newborns under 2 weeks old (especially girls), or women who are close to their due date and would like to schedule a newborn session in advance.

Children
I'm currently looking for boys and girls ages 5-10. Sibling groups welcome, too!

Sneak Peek of Baby "E"

Baby "E" was in a great mood when I showed up to do his pictures on Saturday. Who could resist those big blue eyes and adorable chubby cheeks? Not me! I've been priviledged to capture mom when she was pregnant, and baby "E" as a newborn and I can't believe he's 3 months already. I look forward to many more pictures with him in the future. I had a blast working with little baby "T". He was my quickest newborn session yet, 1 hour 45 minutes. I couldn't believe it was such a breeze. Mom and Dad were so proud to have such a gorgeous little boy. Wouldn't you be?

Sleepy Bendy Newborn

I was so excited to have the chance to photograph baby "J" today. At just 5 days old, I was pretty sure he'd still be very bendy, and also very sleepy. Boy was I right. I couldn't have asked for his session to go any smoother. He snuggled, he slept, woke up for a little bit and went back to sleep. We didn't even have any accidents until the very end (and on his daddy, I might add!). Here are a few of my favorites. Mom and Dad, your gallery will be up within a week. Enjoy!
