I had such a great time working with 1 week old Miss L and her family on Saturday. Little L slept the whole time and was a perfect subject! Portraits in the Park

Firefly Photography is starting a new tradition. Portraits in the Park is an opportunity for you to get your child's fall portraits done at an affordable price. Here's how it works:

1. Choose a time slot and pay your deposit.
2. Dress your child in their favorite fall outfit.
3. Show up at the park at your chosen time.
4. Sit back and relax while I capture adorable images of your little one.
5. Within a week you will receive a link to your gallery containing 5-10 of the best images from the session.
6. Choose the prints that you want and place your order.
7. Receive your prints within 2 weeks of ordering and smile at how easy it all was :)

Portraits in the Park

Location: Rockwood Park (3401 Courthouse Rd. Richmond, VA 23236-1438)
Time: 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.

$100 ($200 value)*

Includes:
-30 minute mini session
-5-10 images to choose from
-disc of low-resolution watermarked images from gallery for sharing online
-2 set of wallets (4 in each set)
-Your choice of 4 small prints (5x7, 4x6, or wallets)

Sessions will take place every hour, on the hour, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Your slot will only be held once your $100 session fee is received and your session contract and model release are signed. You will have the option to purchase additional prints but will not be required to buy anything else. Session fees are non-refundable. Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance of session and session fee will be transferred to a credit with Firefly Photography. Cancellations made within less than 24 hours before your session will not receive any refund. It is recommended that if you must cancel on short notice that you find someone else to fill your slot to avoid losing your money. If you are more than 15 minutes late you will lose your slot and your session fee. No substitutions, coupons, or discounts may be used with this promotion. *Session fee includes up to two people. You may add up to 3 more people(for a total of 5) at $10 per person, but there will not be individual shots if doing a group session.

Little Heartbreaker!

I had the pleasure of working with little "T" and his parents on Saturday. You may remember him from his newborn session back in January. He's grown quite a bit since then and boy is he a cutie! Sugar and Spice

These two really showed that little girls are made of "sugar and spice and everything nice"! I had a great time working with Sweet Baby "A" and Big Sister "G". Baby "A" was the cutest, sweetest little 3 month old. She gave me nothing but smiles. While Miss "A" napped, I got to play with Miss "G", who loved my dress-ups and showing me her babies. Public Service Announcement

It's a big pet peeve among photographers when someone says "wow, your camera takes great pictures". A camera doesn't take pictures, the person behind it does. As photographers, we invest a great deal of time, money (on education), and mental power in getting the perfect shot. Yes, we invest in good equipment to help us do our job, but a camera doesn't take a great picture any more than a good oven bakes a great cake! Now you know!

Another Perfect Newborn
